Start/Taskbar Placement
It seems unlikely there is a direct cause, but while changing batteries in my mouse the Taskbar
shifted from the bottom to the top of the screen. I've searched most all options regarding
info pretaining to the desktop but have not found the secret to return it to its normal position.
What's the trick?
Thanks

Not so easy KirkD. Tried that earlier. The taskbar is not locked but the dragging function does not
work--left or right. It works in other areas but not with the taskbar. What next?

- Open the Context Menu
- Click on MOVE
- Use the arrow keys to move the cursor arrow toward the side of the screen where you want the Task Bar.
- As you get close to the side of the screen, the Task Bar should (may) snap to that side. It may bounce there then back - don't worry.
- With the arrow near the desired edge, press enter and the Bar should move to that side.

Thanks for tuning me into the basics. System restore did the trick! Don't know why it didn't
occur to me since I occasionally use it to delete any hidden worms. Just for the heck of it,
what and where is the context menu?

For an open window, right click on the left side of the title bar to get the context menu for that window.
