Stop 0x7e - Help! NETIO.SYS
Just got a new Dell XPS 630i and one of the few pieces I have installed is VMware Workstation again. Once I did this my PC will BSOD on some boots (not every). I uninstalled Workstation for a few days and it went away, reinstalled and every few boots it BSODs. The only other software installed is MS Office. Machine is fully patched to the eyeballs on drivers and Windows Updates.
Does anyone else use VMWare and have issues like this or if I am barking up the wrong tree can someone help?
I have uploaded the dump file to here if anyone fancies a look.....:- Memory.dmp
The dumpchk is as follows..

That worked for me as I had Netio.Sys errors too..... I am copying my post here for you too:
If any of you are having an issue [BSOD] with messages listing 0x7e and Netio.sys:
Please Visit the following link from Microsoft for an important Knowledge Base.
This article is not yet available on Windows Update; M$ will package it for you on a site from which you can download it and install it. You must download and install it within 7 days as it will not be on M$ site forever... and it is password protected, which M$ will supply also.
See info here:

See my original post and the great response/resolve by PrakashG here:

Note: I had this issue with both the 32-Bit and 64-Bit Vista on my XPS720H2C.
Peace
