Stop: OX0000008E error message
My dell dimension E521 is 2 weeks old.it has already showing this error message.when starting computer,the blue screen comes up bla bla bla but in short if this is first time restart your pc ,if it happens again
Check with your hardware venoor for any BIOS updates.Disable bios memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If a driver is identified in the stop message ,disable driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.try caching video adaptors.
Stop: ox0000008E(oxc0000005,oxc804EEf91,oxBa577B90,ox000 00000).
I have not installed any hardware,since i bought it.Only new thing i put is BARBARIAN pc game cd that my son plays in it.I must say i hadn't seen this message before he stared this game? may b coincident?

But you said it only happened when you installed that game?
Applications can also interfere with Windows Memory Space and when that happens it can cause the system to fault. Uninstall the game and see if it happens again.
Also once installin the game again make sure you have the latest video card drivers.

1. Shut down and restart the system
2. Start tapping the F12 key as soon as you see the blue Dell logo.
3. The ‘One time Boot Menu’ appears
4. Select ‘Boot to Utility Partition’ using the arrow keys and press enter.
5. Click on Test System.
6. You will see the Dell Diagnostics loading
7. Click on Express Test.
