Studio XPS 435mt - memory issues
I bought a 3x4GB (12GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport 1333Mhz 1.5v kit, but have found my Dell Studio XPS 435mt doesn't see all 12GB, just 8GB.
Both the BIOS and System Info report 8GB, however CPU-Z shows all 12GB, running in triple channel mode!?
I've installed the three dimms in slots 1, 2 and 3, just as the manual requests; http://goo.gl/1vMQef
My BIOS is the latest revision.
what gives??

Well... I took all the memory out, and then reseated it again (switching the DIMMs' around); I now see all 12GB in BIOS and also System Info...!? I
What I don't understand, is how come CPU-z could see all 12GB the first time round...? I take it this was just a case of badly seated memory?
