Studio XPS 7100 GPU Upgrade advice
I have Dell Studio XPS 7100 with the AMD Phenom II x6 1035T 2.60GHz CPU, with 8GB RAM and a HD5850 GPU. I use the PC for games amongst other things and am looking to upgrade my graphics card as it is past it . Would it be able to take a RX470?
Appreciate any advice

Thanks for writing to us.
The following graphics cards are the ones tested by Dell and are sure to work.
AMD Radeon HD 6770
AMD Radeon 6950,
AMD Radeon HD6670
RX470 is not tested by Dell.
Though we have seen few of our customer who have tried upgrading to parts that are not tested by Dell. For few it worked and for few it was a little to no luck.
Do provide us the system tag# and also confirm the name the system is registered under. Let us
know the contact number and email address.

I can't see why not, but a power supply upgrade may be in order.
