Surge Protector and Constant Power Supply

I want to protect my sytem against surges and power interruptions.

So I am after a Surge protector and Constant Power Supply (or Uninteruptable Power Supply). Are these all in one device?

I have checked on this website under Surge protectors but could only find power units, any ideas of which one I should get?

H2O,

You want to look for a UPS that provides AVR in its feature set. AVR is automatic voltage regulation. These UPS's provide not only power backup but also provide power line voltage monitoring for both power surges and under volting like brown outs which can be just as damaging to a computer as a surge. This feature is pretty common on all of the better UPS's. APC and Cyberpower are both good brands (I use both as I have 4 UPS's). I have heard bad things about Belkin but have no first hand experience.

You didnt say what type of computer ur going to use this on.When i got my 720 i had to upgrade a apc 420 caus it didnt have enough watts.every time i loaded a game the overload buzzer went off.I was drawing i think 380 to 400 watts.I upgraded to a apc xs1300 which give me 780watts draw before buzzzer kicks in.Also nice thing abt this model is it lets ur monitor all sorts of stuff, watts used, line in volts line out, ect ect..Apc is the only one id recomend.
