Temperature Monitoring

Does anyone know of a Temperature Monitor Program or know the settings for one   for the Intel 82845gl chipset.   I've tried Motherboard Monitor ( http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ ) but cannot get it to work on my machine.  Any help would be great!!

Most Dells do not support temperature monitoring. If you want to monitor specific temperatures you would have to use an add on (separate hardware) monitor with probes.

The P4 Dells all have sensors I've asked tech support and looked up the chipset.  Its the Intel 82845GL  Chipset.

Tech support worte "As per your mail, what I can understand is that you need to know
if the motherboard has temperature monitoring.

Kindly note that the motherboard on your computer has Intel 82845GL
ChipSet. This has a built-in CPU Core temperature Monitor, Chassis
temperature Monitor, CPU fan tachometer Monitor, Chassis fan
tachometer Monitor. "

I know it has the monitors I just need to find a program that will find them or I need to know their location so that I can set the monitor program.

Hello-According to the Motherboard Monitor website, your Intel motherboard will not work with this monitoring software. You may want to ask the motherboard experts at ABXZone if any of them know of a program that can help you out.

Nor on Dells . Unless you rig a sensor, battery and external device to read temperature.

OK  I don't want to repeat myself so here is the entire letter Dell Tech Support sent me.  As you can see Dells do support temperature monitoring, but I'll let you read for yourselves.  Maybe then one of you can suggest some software that will work for me.

The letter follows:

As per your mail, what I can understand is that you need a utility
