Temperature Monitoring

I have a Optiplex GX620 that I want to write a monitoring app for. Is there an Api or anything available for access the components on the motherboard? I want to monitor the CPU, Memory (if possible), HDD, and Fans. I did not see a app that would let me monitor this system, most of the app said that this model was not supported.

 

Anyways, Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I don't know about the commercial systems but on many Dell consumer models there are no provisions for CPU temperature monitoring and an external monitor with a probe must be used.

SpeedFan (free) will tell you the HDD temp, but it can't control the fan speeds, and probably won't read the CPU temps.
