USB keyboard & mouse in Windows 98
Tried to install USB mouse and keyboard on DImension with windows 98. Boot fails with message indicating that "Windows did not detect a mouse." Followed MS instructions on workaround by disabling USB in safe mode and rebooting. This worked once. Now I am back to being unable to boot and MS workaround has no impact.
1) Either need to get USB Mouse and keyboard to work
2) Or remove from system so that I can boot with serial mouse and standard keyboard

The serial mouse should always work on a reboot----- if the keyboard is on the PS 2 connector it should also work on a reboot.
Win 98 SE [ second edition] should not have a problem with a USB upgrade---- 98 can sometimes be a real pain to get it to function
