Uninstalling Internet Explorer
I would like to uninstall the browser Internet Explorer. It is not listed under the Programs and Features listing that comes up when to click in uninstall programs. It is listed under program files. The help menu suggest that I contact Dell to understand how to uninstall this program since it was installed by Dell and is listed under the program files. Can anyone give me the steps to use to uninstall the Internet Explorer browser??? Thanks. Glenn

It is a Microsoft program, not Dell's. You can disable access to it in Turn windows features on/off in Control Panel, Uninstall Programs, Turn windows programs on/off, but you should not do that. Just download another browser or as many other browser as you want and make one of them the default. You need IE to be available for other windows programs and services for everything to operate normally. You don't have to use it.
