Upgrading Video Card and Power Supply - XPS 430

I need a new video card and a new power supply to run the new video card.

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=48038 is the Video Card.

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=37047 is the Power Supply.

Need to know if there are any obvious compatibility issues that I should be aware of before I go ahead and buy these two parts and upgrade my computer with them.

I have already done my homework and waited 1 hour on DELL's phone lines, and they confirmed that everything would work 100%, but I need confirmation from the wise forum people, specifically if there will be enough room for the PSU, and if DELL uses proprietary connectors for their Motherboards.

Thanks.

Any standard ATX power supply will work and the referenced modular power supply is a good choice.  Modular elimates the extra, not needed, cabling.

As far as the video card, that should also work, however, if you plan on using the HDMI port to an HD TV set, make sure this model has on-board (on the video board) audio for the HDMI.  Otherwise it will be a problem trying to get S/PDIF audio from the PC's motherboard.

Good choice for a PSU, and graphics card. But, i agree with Jack, you should have no problems.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll go and pick up the parts sometime this week.
