Have you tried running them in Compatibility Mode for Win XP, rather than messing with Virtual PC?

Don't know how you plan to load those apps (eg from CD/DVD or download), but find the installer.exe or setup.exe (whatever it's named) for the app and right-click its filename or icon. Select Properties and then click Compatibility tab. Set it to Win XP and then run the installer.

After it installs, you may have to right-click the icon for the actual app itself and set its Compatibility Mode to XP too.

And remove your Service Tag from your post ASAP. You should treat the Service Tag as confidential and never post it in an open forum like this.

What error message do you get?

If the installer is 16-bit, even if the actual app is 32-bit, you won't be able to run the installer so that might be the limitation here.

Can you find a newer version with a 32-bit installer?
