Using Xeon MP on WS'530

Is there any one who can tell me if I can use Xeon MP 1.6(1M L2cach) on my Precision530? My sysrem board is 032NCC.

I am making an educated gues here, but I believe the answer is yes. My guess is that your CPU is a "Foster" core chip based on its clock rate which should be compatible with your older motherboard.
