What Intel Chipset do I have?
I'm going to buy more RAM but I dont know what Intel Chipset I have.
Im on a Dimension 8200. And according to this http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=dim_other&message.id=195651 post.
The 8200 has 2 diffrent types.
On my receit it doesnt say whitch I have.
It says "{Dimension 8200 MLK} P4 2.53GHz/512, No Sound, Intergrated Floppy Drive.
I bought mine AFTER May-6-2002. But I would still like to be 100% wheater or not I have the Intel 850 or the Intel 850E.
I couldnt find anything in the BIOS mentioning this, and the Belarc Advisor program dident say anything either. Is there another program I can use out there?

Hope this helps

Powerleap's INSPECS usually can tell the difference between an 850 & 850E chipsets
http://www.powerleap.com/#
But from your processor you have an 850E as the 2.53GHz is a 533 FSB processor

You didn't say how much memory you wanted to add but here is a good deal on 256MB sticks (you will need a pair)

Hope this helps
