What Sound Card Is this?

I have this sound card, and would like to know what it is. "SB0413"

SB is probably Soundblaster but there is nothing found on their site for 0413.  This could also be a generic card or an OEM card.  There are some google hits on SB0413, but nothing I saw to indicate exactly what it is.

That sounds like Sound blaster 2 Audigy VALUE OEM card.


Perhaps thats the Model number for the OEM LIVE ! 24 bit card.

It turns out that as you said it is the SBL 24 bit card. Should I download the SB drivers from Creative, or use what came with the E510?

Dell tends to have cards made for them that are not compatable with the creative drivers. That means you shouldnt use drivers other than what came with the system.

Well I went to Creative web page, and they now have automatic updating and checking. It found updated drivers and applications and downloaded to my system. Not only do they work they fixed a problem with my right channel. So this time I lucked out.
