What is the PCI Input device?

Question

I recently reformatted my dimension 8250 and i reinstall the ethernet network and audio drivers but it won't find any software to install the PCI Input Device. i too am experiencing the same problem. i have installed the sound blaster live software and the usb drivers, ethernet drivers and so on. i cannot find out what the device is or how to get this resolved.
