What is the maximum screen resolution provided by the Optiplex 3020 micro via the DP-port?
Hi all,
What is the maximum screen resolution an Optiplex 3020 micro can provide via its DP-connection?
Or, more direct: will it be able to do 2560x1600 on a HP LP3065 monitor (with help of a Dell XT625, aka Bizlink ices-003)?
regards,
Evert

I think you will get only 2560x1440 out of the Intel 4600 on-chip video. If you have a discrete add-on video card, you might get 1600, depending on the card.

Can I add a Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 card to the PC and get that resolution?

You can get this resolution, but only using the Display Port or the Dual-Link DVI-I connections. The HDMI connection only delivers 1920x1080. You should do a little research and determine if your monitor has the needed connections and what exact cabling is needed.
