Windows Portable Devices Media Transfer Protocol (wpdmtp.inf)
Hello all!
I amd trying to get an mp3 player installed on my computer but i keep hitting a snag. It keeps coming up with a code 28 error which is "the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)", and when I looked into that it said that my, Windows Portable Devices Media Transfer Protocol (wpdmtp.inf), is not avaliable. My question is how do i reinstall this onto my computer? Or do i have to take it to a technician?

First this is the AUDIO section. Your problem is more a software issue. Can't say for sure what your problem is as you failed to include the PC Model Number and the Operating System. But, did the MP3 player come with a driver install disc? or is there a driver download on the MP3 vendor's web site? The Vendor's site would be the best place to start.
