Windows XP startup RUNDLL error

Hi, I'm having a problem when my desktop loads up after I log into Windows (XP).  I get an error message in a dialogue box.

It says RUNDLL at the top and then: Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~1.DLL The specified module could not be found.

The only option is "OK."  Then for about 15 to 20 minutes nothing will open properly such as My Pictures, My Documents, Microsoft Word, and the Internet Explorer.  I have to wait about 20 minutes before I get a report error message from MSN Live Messenger then everything works normal afterward.  I have tried turning off automatic sign-in for the messenger and the problem still occurs.  I have had this problem for awhile now and would like to know what to do in order to fix this.  Thanks :emotion-4:

Blu525252,

What you're experiencing is a software issue caused by spyware so you should re-post this in the Virus & Spyware conference. The first time I saw that error was actually the very first time I found out about spyware & all the problems it can cause. The person whose computer it appeared on got it from using the file sharing program Kazaa, which comes loaded with that junk when you install it.
