Wireless KVM Setup

Sure wired KVM won't work with wireless keyboard/mouse? Plug keyboard/mouse receivers into KVM instead of into PC. No promises this will work, but worth a try, if you have KVM available or buy from a store that will allow you to return it.

If I remember correctly, wireless logitech mouse worked on wired KVM for me, but Sony monitor definitely wasn't recognized correctly so gave up and returned KVM.

This won't work because the Wireless keyboard/mouse are on one recieving unit.
All of the KVM's I find are for a mouse and keyboard on seperate lines.

How does your reciever connect? USB or PS/2?

One caution - I used to use a KVM with my Logitech wireless set - the features of the mouse other than two buttons and wheel were not detected by the PCs. Logitech confirmed this as a fact of life, couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it at the time. YMMV

It is USB. The Keyboard and Mouse plug into one USB reciever. What I basically need is
a KVM switch that just has one imput for a monitor, and one input for a USB reciever.
If you know of any of these websites that might sell a product like this, or similiar,
I would like to have the link. It's also ok if just the two buttons work, and the
scroll wheel work just because thats the total features of this mouse and keyboard
setup (it's a Dell brand).
