Wireless keyboard does not work for BIOS setup

My Dell wireless keyboard used to work in the BIOS setup, after some system reconfiguration (unknown what happened), my keyboard no longer works in the BIOS and I need to plug in a wired keyboard to use it.

Any ideas. Thanks. J

The 8300 model has one USB port that is active during boot up.  It should be on the rear of the system near the center upper right.  Once you are able to get into the BIOS Setup then you may want to enable the option for USB Emulation.  With this setting enabled the BIOS will then support all the USB ports during boot up.  Otherwise these "other" ports are inactive until Windows loads the USB drivers.
