Wireless keyboard/mouse in Safe mode
If I have to boot into Safe mode, will the wireless keyboard and mouse work? If not, I will have to go get a basic keyboard and mouse to have handy!

You shouldn't have any problems with the basic functionality of mouse and keyboard in safe mode. Works for me.
