XPReformat and Reinstall Win

Hi All, I was hoping someone maybe able to help me.
I'm wanting to do a reformat on my Dimension desktop (not sure model) and a reinstall, going through all my discs I have everything but the XP disc!
I have no idea where it has gone, I have all the other discs with all the drivers I need but the XP one has gone AWOL :(
 
Now I think my Dell PC has got a sticker on it with my XP key code on it, if it does can I borrow a friends XP disc and use that to reinstall but when it asks for the keycode type in mine and not his?
Would this work? I really do not want to shell out for a new copy of XP as it nearly £100, which I'm loathed to pay just because I lost one disc.
 
Please can anyone answer the above?
