XPS-2720 Screen Issues
Within days of warranty expiration, one of my XPS-2720 (05R2TK mainboard) started getting horizontal lines screen corruption which became permanent after a few days of reboots. Major horizontal and also vertical corruption now, such that can't even read bios screens.
Tried replacing LVDS cables, no change. Is this likely a mainboard or display issue? Other things I can check without buying parts? I have another unit to swap parts with but it is working and don't want to risk its health unnecessarily if possible.

The Nvidia GeForce GT 750M is on the motherboard. So replacing J6G6P would replace both of them. If you were asking if the LCD itself could be damaged, try this, take an external monitor that has HDMI in port. Connect an HDMI to HDMI cable from the monitor to the XPS One 2720 HDMI OUT port on the rear of the XPS One 2720. Turn the XPS One 2720 and the monitor on. Does an image appear on the external monitor?
