Just had a quick go at customising it and it sems the ATI radeon 4850 costs a massive £52,151.71, wow really isnt that just a tad much?

Nice machine, but seems handicapped.  I guess they don't want to make it to compete with their xps line, but would have been nice if the 430 had the dual pci-e 2.0 x16 slots so that people had the option of going crossfire.

Besides the x48 chipset, what else does this offer over the 420???

One thing that struck me--12 USB ports--2 in front, 5 in back, and 5(!) internal ports.

That, and none of the mock-ups that I saw on the page had video cards.

Yep, seems like an identical Chassis to the XPS 420. I hope they've fixed the rattling/vibrations problem with some XPS 420's (including mine). The only difference seems to be the motherboard and the option of a decent 4850 graphics card on the medium build.
