XPS 8300 i5 - memory upgrade
Hi guys,
just got in my friends desktop to work on. It's xps 8300 i5 - 120ssd master, 1TB slave. 4GB 1330 ddr3 ram, Radeon HD 6450
Is it possible to stuff it with 16gb (4x4gb)1660 ddr3 ram or can I upgrade only to 16gb (4x4gb) ddr3 1330? or what's the max. ram I can beef it up with?
Thanks.

Hello Rajesh,
thank you for your help. I'm new in building computers. Can you sugges any ram make that would be suitable for this build? I want to have 16gb ram so I guess 4x4gbs or 2x8gbs? At the moment it has samsung ram 2x2gbs. So I was wondering if to buy crosair, crucial memory kit 2x4bg x 2 or any different brand you can think of that will work on my system? Thank you.

Hi flux,
I recommend, to go ahead with 4x4GB memory on the computer.
Click here for Corsair memory upgrade.
Additional memory allows you to open more applications simultaneously while providing the power needed to make them run quickly. It enhances the performance of your system allowing you to work faster and reap improved performance of up-to-date applications and operating systems.
