Try turning on the Intel Rapid Storage option in BIOS and see if that works. IRST is a pain but when it works its great. You may have to re-initialize it in the option screen that pops up before Windows Boots. I will admit it has been a while since I've played with IRST, but if it is off, try turning it back on and see if that helps. I do know Windows installs 'special' drivers when it is enabled so if it is turned off it messes everything up.
