XPS 8900 power light blinking orange
I need help XPS 8900 power light blinking orange. I have reset memory brought new battery. I have tried everything people post nothing works. I even disconnected UBS ports still nothing. HELP PLEASE

1. If you're using a surge protector, power strip or uninterruptable power supply, disconnect those and connect PC directly to a working outlet.
2. Power off and unplug power cord from *rear of PC*. Press/hold power button for ~30 sec. Reconnect cord to rear of PC. See if it boots now.
3. Have you disconnected all peripherals, including mouse and keyboard?

The power LED should be flashing in a pattern (2 or 3 flashes, a pause, then up to 7 flashes) Please refer to the Diagnostic LED Indicators table here:
www.dell.com/.../a-reference-guide-to-the-xps-desktop-diagnostic-indicators
That should give you a better idea of what the problem is.
