Xps420/ Memory module are detected but a memory configuration or compatibility error has ocurred
hi im having this problem. the computer dosent even log the bios,
i read the FAQ from dell, and i did everything and the problem still there,
Last thing the i did, I install 2 hardware, 1 was a Buffalo wireles card and AVERTVcapture card.
after 30 minuts my system shutdown automatic, and the error show up: Xps420/ Memory module are detected but a memory configuration or compatibility error has ocurred:
after the error, i uninstall the hardware, and then i try turn it on again. Same error still
What should i do? i did everything.....This are the error lights 1 and 3 , and now is 3 and 4
Xps 420/ Core 2 duo, 3g-ram, Hd2400,
No Events found!

Did you try reseating the memory modules?
Follow the recommendations HERE <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> from you service manual. Pull all memory. Then put only one stick in at a time and try to boot the system. if no errors remove that stick and try with another. do this for all memory sticks.
Perhaps while installing the cards you bumped or losened the memory modules.

yeah i did. i read all the help in dell suppor and i did step by step.
and nothing.
