Hi
Have you added any new ram ?
Have you ran the diagnostics to see if any of
the ram has gone bad ?
You might change the onboard battery to see if that will help
with the problem .
Open the case and make sure the ram is still seated right to start with
unplug the computer from the wall and push the power button for a few seconds
before you go inside of it.
Good Luck

Checkpoint [WRIT] could be a hard drive write error. Reboot and press F12 before XP starts to load. Go to Utilities partition and run extended hard drive tests. Copy down any error messages.
Then reboot normally. At desktop:
click start>run
type in: chkdsk c: /f
click OK
Accept offer to run chkdsk at next boot
Shut down normally and reboot
chkdsk will run before XP loads the next time. Be a good idea to back up your files on external media asap if this is the first hint of a failing hard drive. ;)
When you're back at the desktop, delete all .tmp files and defrag the hard drive too.

EDIT: Your link is broken. You have http:\\ in it twice. :D
