compatible drivers for ATI Radeon 256mb 9250 video card

I downloaded from ATI  drivers labeled 9.4 xp for my 256mb radeon 9250 PCI/VGA card.  I have ver 4.10 catalyst drivers.  The install said  ver 9.4 xp wasn't compatible. Can anyone tell me which version  ATI drivers are compatible for this card on optiplex GX240?  The  video 's are sometimes choppy which I take to mean need a updated  driver. Other than it being choppy at times, it works.
