disable memory shadowing in BIOS

My brother's new 8200 has a BSOD with a STOP: 0x00000051 registry error.  On the screen it says to disable memory shadowing and cache shadowing in the BIOS.  He's called Dell 10 times in the last 2 days and no one can tell him how to do this.  His BIOS version is A05, and he can't find "advanced settings".  Right now the computer is not usable.  When he boots from the XP CD to try to repair windows, he gets the blue screen after choosing the os to repair in the recovery console, also after pressing F8 (licensing agreement) to re-install.  Searching on google came up empty, and DELL support has no idea.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot disable it, and it's not the cause of the problem.

Have you tried booting and running the Dell diagnostics to rule out a hard drive failure or other hardware problem?
