eml files won't open

In ME, go to start>settings>control panel>folder options>file types tab>scroll down until you come to an envelope icon with the description "outlook express mail message" (.eml file). Click to highlight it, click the advance button, highlight "open" under actions, click edit again, & in the "application used to perform this action, it should read: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /eml:%1


Note the space between the EXE" and the /eml


QT has been taking over alot of associations lately I've noticed, including .jpgs, downloads, etc.

thanks..i have done this. it said i had 'customized files under eml and to change them back to the default"... should do it..

I wasn't expecting that message, but I would choose to change them back to the default (which should be OE) if that's what it is asking you to do. Default implies the way it was originally, so I'd choose it.

There have been alot of problems with QT lately, strange.
