Remove Wordpad and re-install.
Go to Control Panel add / remove programs - Windows Set-up.
Take the tick out of Word Pad, it's normally in Accessories.
OK out and shut down, then re start your computer.
Go back to Control Panel Windows Set-up and put the tick back in Word Pad.
OK out, reboot if necessary and you should have it back.
Post back adn let us know how you got on. Also please advise your system model and O/S
