geforce 9800gt in my xps 420?

I would like to put an EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB in my xps 420 but I only have the 375 watt psu.  Will it work?  Will the card fit?  This is the one I'm looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130380.  If I need a better psu what should I get?

Edit:  Would this psu happen to fit? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153077

Great thats what I was hoping to hear.  What do you think about that card?  Good bang for the buck?

It's a good card. you may want to look at price differences with 9800GTX+. I believe it'll run on that PSU. I have a 9800GX2 in my 420 with the 425W PSU. I would recommend it except for your 375W PSU.

What do you have now. Check out this link and decide by what you play most:

9800Gt will work fine with the 375W PSU.

If you are planning on gaming with the 420, i would suggest getting a gtx 260 since they are not too expensive, ~$250.  You'll probably need a new PSU though.  The 425W PSU i think can handle it.

^^

The GTX260 Core 216 definitely works with the 425W PSU.

So the geforce evga 9800gtx+ should work with the 375 watt psu?  I don't really play all the new games, a 9800gt would probably be fine but I wouldn't mind spending a little more if its a good bang for my buck.  I don't really want to spend $109.99 on a 425 watt psu.  Can I fit a cheaper non-dell psu in my 420?  Anyone know of a good psu that will fit?

Or you could try this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121266 The 375Watt PSU does not have the two 6 pin connectors for the GTX cards.

The 9800gtx+ didn't work with my XPS 420 with 425w.... :emotion-45:

I was able to install and start up, but it kept on rebooting the OS....
