graphics for xps
i am looking to upgrade my xps 8300s graphics cards from a ati radeon hd 5450 to a SAPPHIRE 100351SR Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support OC with Boost i want to know if the card is fully compatible with the xps 8300
specs:
1 tb hard drive
8 gigs of ram
i7 2600cpu 3.40 ghz
460 watt psu (i am planning on upgrading the psu)

Hello Sammy4543,
The SAPPHIRE 100351SR Radeon HD 7970 3GB requires a minimum of 500 Watt power supply with 6pin + 8pin connector. Hence you would have to upgrade the power supply. Otherwise it is good to go.

Hey Sammy,
DId this card work for you? I couldn't get the Sapphire 7950 3GB to work with my system, presumably because of the BIOS on the mother board.
