How to enter the Setup [BIOS] of a XPS 400 system.

Turn on (or restart) your computer.

When the blue Dell logo is displayed, you must watch for the F2 prompt to appear.

Once this F2 prompt appears, press F2 immediately.

occassionally I notice my screen doesn't turn on/initialize fast enough to see the dell screen. if you're having problems it won't hurt you to starting tapping on the F2 key as soon as you turn the computer on.

or turn off fast boot to ensure seeing Dell screen.
