inspiron 560 wont boot after new mobo
just relpaced mobo with brand new old stock ans it won't boot into windows 7, just goes into repair options but won't repair.
It tries to start windows, it comes up starting windows, you see the coloured logo just peek onto the screen then it reboots.
yes, it's the same model mobo.

Check the SATA operating mode for the drives -- it must be set to the same as it was before the board was replaced (AHCI, RAID, etc.).
F2 at powerup to check.

thanks ejn63 for the suggestion, worked a treat.
only problem I had was f2 didn't work so went in through the boot menu.
