install sound card driver Turtle Beach from XPS T500 RecourceCD
I reimaged my machine. Need to install the sound card driver. Win98SE
Can I do that using either of the Turtle Beach drivers from XPS T500 RecourceCD. Turtle Beach Montego A3D 64 Voice, Turtle Beach Montego II A3D 128 Voice.
Not clear how to use the ResourceCD. I've clicked on each of the Turtle Beach drivers. A DOS batch file runs: install.bat Restart computer.
What does that do? At restart Windows says there's a new PCI Multimedia Audio Device, but doesn't know about a driver for it. What path I'm I suppose to direct it to?
info on card shows: DP/N 0005931D, N270, ASC338(E).
If the driver is available elsewhere, how safe is it to download it?
