If you are just going connect two PC's that will be close to each other then you can use Win9x's Direct Cable Connection. You will need a special serial cable called a crossover or null modem cable. Any good computer store will know what it is. Then just follow the instructions in Windows help. You will need to install DCC from Control Panel Add/Remove programs. Post back if you run into any snags.
ATTENTION
everyone on the forum.....Dell has added a "scratch pad" conference to post test messages and test sig's. It will be cleared out weekly so it can keep the extra traffic off the boards. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!
