pci modem driver for dimension 3000
Reinstalled XP on the above model and have the yellow ? behind the PCI modem in the device manager. Looked for a driver but can't find one. cany aonyone help?

The drivers for anything delivered with the Dimension 3000 are here: Dimension 3000 Drivers. There are at least two drivers for modems in the Communications category, so you will need to try to identify which modem you have. Don't forget that Dells need to have the first five or so drivers installed in the following order: Desktop System Software (in System Utilities), Intel Chipset Driver, Network Interface Adapter, Sound, and finally, the Modem. If you have other devices you may install those in any order after the first five.
When you begin to download, it's a good idea to make folders for each driver that you need so you will be able to keep track of them. Use the Download Direct via Web Browser option to download them one at a time. The Dell Download Manager is tricky to use, and I've yet to see a post that had anything good to say about it.
