problem with tv- tuner card

what tv tuner is it,,,,  1st go to device manager see if the tuner is there in "sound , video game controllers"   2nd go to media center   , go to setup , select set up tuner  ,  then tv giude.

Did you install the drivers?  If so uninstall the drivers and reboot.  After reboot go into EMC and now it should work.  I had the same problem and after I uninstalled the drivers everything worked.  I have the ATI Theater 650 Pro combo From Dell TV tuner.

now when i try that driver ATI combo than he says " can't find intall parts"

and when i go to my device manager and i go to sound, video and game controllers i see this one " Sigma Tell High Definition Audio CODEC "

if u see only the audio codec in device manager then tv tuner is not installed. what OS u have vista or xp?

 

i have vista home premium 32 bit.

 

but how can i get the drivers or how must i install it...

when i try to intall the driver than i sad " failed to find any installeble components! "

 

what must i do dont understand it.

 last thing i can think of is to remove the card from the pc . reboot..   after pc boots turn off pc and  then reinstall the tv tuner card again  and rebbot to see if windows will find the card and drivers..if it does not find the tuner , hook up your TV  cable to the card and try media centre set up again..are   still have under warrenty , if so call dell support..
