question on cpu upgrade dimension 9150

Hi.

Well its time to give my old dimension 9150 a dose of steroides. I want to start with changeing the old single-core cpu with a new quad core. But someone told me that I should make shure that the motherboard supported the new cpu, because many didn't

So my questions are: Will my motherboard accept the new cpu without a fuzz? Are there any drivers i could upgrade?

The processor i have planed to get is an "Intel Core™ 2 Quad Q9400 2,66GHz, Socket 775, 6MB, 1333MHz", and the BIOS version is A03.

Thanks in advance for any help.:emotion-1:

The 9150 supports Pentium 4 or Pentium D processors only and does not support either the Core2Duo or Quad core processors.
