(redirected) Downgrading to windows 8

I have an Alienware Aurora r4 2012 model and I want to know if they're any risks of downgrading. 

Windows 8 has been acting up a lot recently and I can't seem to find a fix so if someone could tell me the pros and the cons of downgrading that'd be great. Thanks in advanced
