runtime error 216 & 43f2

i’m getting a runtime error 216 at 00002938, and when i say ok to the message i get
another runtime error 216 at 43f2. anyway i end up having to reboot everything freezes
up and i get the blue screen of death. most of the time (but not always) this happens
when i close explorer 5.0, other times closing other programs it does it

Try disabling all background running applications. Click START | RUN | type MSCONFIG press OK. Place a dot next to Selective startup and then remove the checks from Autoexec.bat and Config.sys. Next click the STARTUP tab and uncheck each item on the list (except for system tray), press OK and restart the system. See if the issue returns. If it does not, then you can replace one check at a time, restarting the computer after each to test if it is the culprit.
