sudden difficulty with wireless keyboard and mouse
I have a new Dell Inspirion series CPU/monitor that I am using with a previous Dell wireless keyboard and mouse (keyboard TH-0U0097-37171-448-02N3). Worked fine for several months (mouse was a little tempermental, but not bad). Suddenly, the keyboard quit working, mouse worked fine. Replaced batteries in keyboard, still had trouble resetting it with wireless router. Finaly got keyboard reset after changing location of wireless device in USB port several times, now the mouse won't sync. I've given up and am using a wired connection now, but would much prefer to go back to wireless if I can get it to work again. Any ideas?

Hi RxJungle,
From the serial number (TH-0U0097-37171-448-02N3), it shows that you own the following keyboard (see the image).

Follow the steps below and reply if this fixes the issue:
Also, if there are several metal objects in the vicinity of the receiver or the keyboard or mouse, this can interfere with the signal between the two. Depending on the size of the metal object and its position on the desk, it can either increase or decrease the range of the keyboard & mouse. Ensure that the receiver is at least 8 inches (20 cm) away from the monitor and the PC chassis. Try placing a mouse pad or CD jewel case under the receiver.
Do reply with results.
