unknown device

Question

Well there seem to be a problem, After I formated my boot drive and reinstall a clean xp and did all the updates and so on i still have a problem in my device manager.   in the other device there is a unknown device, the id is: acpi\awy0001\2&daba3ff&0 and another one in my system device section and it says: intel(r) 82801 gb smbus controller-283e (intel(r) smbus 2.0 driver   what the heck are these?  I tried everything i can think it all started when i bought uniblue products and ran them on my system. like the driver scanner and now there are more problems now then before.

When you reinstalled your OS did you follow THIS to reload your drivers

yes, that was the very first thing i did and at that time i had 8 problems, i'm down to two

well really after running the dell resourse cd i got it down to just the one( the unknown device) but after i tried to fix it by running other programs that was ment to fix drivers the other one poped up.

thats why i'm here, i tryed to undo what i did but no luck.
