url's missing in address bar
what do I have to do to get the url's in the address bar? My wife's xps420 does not hold address's in the address bar anymore ,(Places she has been),it stays blank all the time, it seemed to happened right after I installed mcAfee on her xps420. Her Trend Micro ran out and I installed MC Afee on her xps420

Reset the "Advanced" settings in Internet Explorer Options. That seems to fix many Browser problems.
In Internet Explorer, click on Tools then Internet Options. Then click on the Advanced tab and then the Button to Reset the Advanced options (and then Apply).
If that doesn't fix it, look in McAfee for a setting that automatically clears the browsing history (whatever it may be labled).

Go to control panel, Internet Options, Content, AutoComplete. I have all the boxes checked. If you run any program, like CCleaner, it will remove these unless you uncheck it from the list. Have it NOT erase autocomplete, forms and passwords and they should always be there.
