I couldn't find your exact error references. There was a reference of a virus that attaches to the xinstaller file. You could make sure your virus definitions are up to date and run a scan. You can go to www.google.com and type in your error messages and see if any relate to your problem. There were several hits on xinstaller.

thank you Fredha, i will run my virus scan tonight and will update my definitions... its getting quite annoying... thank you!
