whea_uncorrectable_error
Looking for some advice. I have been receiving this error message followed by a restart and an error report being sent. I have noticed it mostly when scrolling through web pages but recently it has happened shortly after a restart (before I managed to do anything). Just looking for suggestions as the machine is still under warranty and I would like to know if it could possibly be a hardware issue.
Spec is:-
XPS8500
Processor: - Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Installed memory:- 16GB
System type:- 64 bit Operating System, x64-based processor.
Graphics card:- AMD Radeon HD7800 series.
Windows 8 Pro with Media Centre
It was bought just as the base unit and I am running dual monitors via displayport connections.
Thanks

That's a hardware error, but we need more information.
What exactly is displayed on the blue screen?

Important Info If You Have Received a STOP Code
If you received a blue screen error, or stop code, the computer has shut down abruptly to protect itself from data loss. A hardware device, its driver, or related software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows came with your computer, call the manufacturer of your computer.

I am familiar with blue screen on previous versions of Windows but this is 8 and all I get is a message telling me of the error, and then it restarts and I get a message telling me the PC ran into a problem and caused it to restart. I can then send the files to Microsoft to help them improve windows.
Files that are sent to Microsoft are in:-
C:|Windows|Minidump\012213-6031-01.dmp - I can find this file but cannot open to view
C:\Users\Ian|AppData\Local\Temp\WER-21531-0.sysdata.xml - I cannot find this file.
C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP - I cannot find this file.
If there is someway to change the settings so that I can see the old style blue screen then I will change this so I can report back more information.
Thanks.

If you're under warranty, contact Dell Tech Support for assistance. No point trying to decipher the error when all you need is for them to fix the hardware.
